What Causes Premature Ejaculation?
Men have commonly experienced premature ejaculation at some point in their lives, but many do not know how to prevent it -- or what exactly causes PE. Premature ejaculation is caused by many factors, and some may be controlled with medicine, practice, and proper exercise.
Premature Ejaculation: Uncontrollable and Curable Causes
Premature ejaculation is not simply the result of an inexperienced partner. Premature ejaculation involves a number of causes, including stress, increased penis sensitivity, and weak pubococcygeus muscles, all which can be resolved within weeks. The five most common causes of PE are:
- Penis sensitivity. Penis sensitivity is the number one cause of male stamina issues, including premature ejaculation. Penis sensitivity is natural, but inexperience and weak pubococcygeus (the muscle that controls orgasm) will dramatically increase sensitivity in the penis. Uncircumcised men also experience increased penis sensitivity. Easy remedies for resolving excessive penis sensitivity are frequent masturbation or increased sexual intercourse. Often this approach will not remedy the problem -- supplements designed to combat PE are appropriate in this case. Currently the best PE remedy available is Climinax, which is taken daily to increase male stamina.
- Increased stress. The second most common cause of premature ejaculation is stress. Stress affects everything, including a man's lasting power. Stress also affects a man's self esteem and ruins concentration, which increases PE by two-fold.
- Wrong sex techniques. Sometimes PE is caused by using the wrong technique during sexual intercourse, which increases penis sensitivity -- decrease it by trying a safer technique. Woman-on-top positions provide less stimulation on the penis, prolonging intercourse. There are also positions to avoid, including missionary and any deep-penetrating positions.
- Weak pubococcygeus muscles. This is often referred to as the PC muscle, which controls orgasms and ejaculation. A weak PC muscle will dramatically increase PE; strong PC muscles allow men to control orgasm. With this in mind, it is ideal to perform exercises, such as the Kegel exercise. Kegel exercises are exercises that strengthen the PC muscles, and practicing these exercises every day will effectively strengthen the PC muscles – and increase the longevity of sex.
- Inexperience. Lack of sexual intercourse is another main cause of PE, increasing sensitivity in the penis. It also decreases the ability to control ejaculation. This usually affects younger men, but older men also encounter this problem. This naturally remedies itself with experience, but if that does not solve it, try creams or medicine designed to treat premature ejaculation.
All five of these causes are devastating to the male organ’s sexual performance, but properly treating these causes with effective solutions (such as medicine designed to treat PE) will help decrease your chance of premature ejaculation. Leaving these causes untreated only ensures a future of severe PE and an unsatisfied partner.
