How to Prevent Premature Ejaculation by using Sex Positions

By Edward White, Creator, Prejaculation

Before you learn how to prevent premature ejaculation by using sex positions, you need to understand that it is impossible to engage in sexual intercourse without using at least one sex position. When most people have sex, they tend to use at least 2 sex positions on average during each love-making session. This seems like a pretty low number because this is reality, not porn. The reality is that 70% of the adult male population are suffering from premature ejaculation and leave the sexual desires of their women unfilled.  Since so many men are premature ejaculators, they always come before they can try more than 2 sex positions.

The purpose of this article here is not about telling you how many sex positions the average couple use. It is telling you that sex is a physical act which fundamentally based around the use of various sex positions. Therefore, sex positions are linked to male sexual performance. Each different sex position has a different effect on a man and each one can bring a woman different amount of sexual pleasure and satisfaction. If you can understand this simple principle, it will allow you to transform it into a more useable and powerful concept. Once you learn how to effectively choose and use different sex positions, you will be able to prolong ejaculation and last longer in bed. That is the purpose of this article.

The first thing you need to pay attention to is how each different sex position will affect your orgasm control or arousal control. That is your ability to maintain erection while having sex before you ejaculate eventually. Some sex positions, due to the ways your body is posed, can put stress on parts of your body, such as on your arms, legs. This kind of stress can make you unable to prevent premature ejaculation  and is caused by maintaining the position during sexual intercourse.

The Missionary Position

Many people thought the missionary mission can allow the men much control over their arousals. It is not true. In order to maintain the missionary position properly, a man must use the combination of his legs and arms to support his body weight. The man is basically propping himself up. After several minutes of thrusting and propping, the stress on the muscles of his body will increase just enough to tip him over the edge. This is going to cause the man to lose orgasm control and therefore unable to prevent premature ejaculation.

However, this does not mean you should not use missionary position in the bedroom. You just need to be aware that this particular sex position can cause stress on your body and make your lose control over your sexual arousal. Once you know, you should make sure you use the missionary position as the first position during each of your love-making session – while you are not yet tired and still possess most of the control over your own arousal.

Other sex positions such as cowgirl or reverse cowgirl can offer you much better control than the ones in which you must either prop yourself up on your limbs or squat down. Therefore, you should use these positions near the end of your sexual encounter – while you have become tired and are close to ejaculating. Therefore, use the sex positions that offers you the least control first and then use the ones that offers you the most control last. By doing this it will allow you to prevent premature ejaculation.

The Spoons Position

Finally, the spoons position. Do not underestimate the power of this sex position. This position involves a man lying on his side with his legs slightly bent, with his partner pressed against his front, her legs slightly parted, her knees bent, and her hips tilted to one side.

The spoons position allows you the most control over your own arousal levels. With this position, you do not experience stress since you are lying down and do not have to maintain an awkward pose. Also, you are in full control of the thrusting action so you get to control the speed, strength, depth and frequency. Moreover, you may even lean your head over your partner’s shoulder and kiss her cheek and neck gently – while calming your arousal level by slowing down the rhythmic thrust of your hips. This position greatly allows you to practice how to prevent premature ejaculation.
